An[ot]her 5 is the next in the cycle of ‘one-off dances’ series of J(us)t 5 created by Ana Sánchez-Colberg for Theatre enCorps. An[ot]her 5 exposes the dialectics between a series of oppositions: the personal/intimate, the public/private, the indoor/outdoor, a private dance in a public space, city. Audience members are asked to sign up for a slot to reserve a space with audio equipment or attend the event by downloading the audio into their own device.

Ana Sánchez-Colberg is a dancer, choreographer and writer, artistic director of Theatre enCorps with which she has toured internationally since 1989. Theatre enCorps has been producing innovative dance since its debut performances in 1989 and have received numerous awards including a Fellowship from the Swedish Council, various National Endowment for the Arts Awards, Bonnie Bird Choreography Award (UK) and Best Dance to Live Music (Performing Rights Society/British Council Award) in 2005.

An[ot]her 5: One-Off Dance #7 performance by Ana Sánchez-Colberg for Theatre enCorps is part of CHEAPART's participation at Art Athina 2017, and the parallel performance program.
